You would do well to send a complaint to ebay, not post here. Having
said that, I am convinced that most autographs sold on ebay by ALL
sellers are forgeries. You used to come across Lon Chaney autographs
among reputable dealers about once every 2-3 years. Now you find 4-5 a
week on ebay, and all are forgeries. I even saw a Garbo autograph on
ebay a few weeks ago which I am quite sure is a fake.

Another insidious trick I believe is happening is that someone gets a
legitimate signed still that has an (unsigned) rare actor on the same
still. They then forge the rare actor onto the legitimate signed
still, trying to lend authenticity to the rarer and more valuable
autograph. I'm waiting to see a PHANTOM OF THE OPERA still that has a
legitimate Mary Philbin with a bogus Lon Chaney next to it.
